(download)Hello, Everyone.
Sorry for the mass e-mail, but we're pretty excited about a few things going on right now at TechZulu. We're taking our media streaming services on the road with Amanda Coolong (@acoolong) in a few weeks with a new show, TechPunch! We'll be premiering the show during a live broadcast from the Cool As Ever Tech (http://bit.ly/U4GpT) event happening August 8th, 2009.
TechPunch is an hour long online-based variety show featuring all the Tech-News, Start-ups and New Media SoCal has to offer! If you're interested in the show, I've attached a TechPunch PDF that covers what it's about and how you can get involved.

Google is Coming to Chicago (and having a Meetup)
Posted: 16 Jul 2009 12:43 PM PDT
Reading time: 1 - 2 minutes
Alright, alright… The headline is a little misleading. We all know that Google already has a thriving office here in the Windy City. That said, they haven’t done a meetup here and they certainly haven’t had some of the Mountain View Googlers out here to meet Chicagoans, but all that is about to change.
Google is holding a meetup at 6pm on Wednesday, July 22 (that’s next week!) at LaSalle Power Company (500 N. LaSalle) to discuss all things Google (and perhaps even some non-Google things) with anyone that is interested. Real Mountain View Googlers will be taking part in this meetup giving you the chance to see if they really are any different than our own Chicago Googlers.
To RSVP for the Google meetup in Chicago please click on this link. This meetup is a great chance to interact with some members of the Google team and to get all of your Googly questions answered. Let’s show Google some love in a way that only Chicago can (with some deep dish pizza?).

Nikon took its cue from our celebrity-obsessed paparazzi culture to launch the brand's D700 model in Korea.
At a busy Seoul subway station, Nikon mounted a huge interactive, light-box billboard displaying life-like images of paparazzi. Huddled together as if at a premiere, the "paps" appear to be jostling and competing for the best celebrity snap. The celebrities in this case were the passersby, who automatically triggered a deluge of flashing camera lights as they walked past the billboard. The accidental superstars then followed the red carpet all the way out of the station and into a mall - directly into the store where they could purchase the new D700. Mission accomplished. - Lisa Evans
